About Matt.
What began as a hobby in 2017 has now become a passion. One that I aim to continually learn from, improve on and make a career of. I am interested in photography that spans a wide range of subject matter, this includes wildlife, sports, events and portraits. My greatest passion is sports photography.
I try to capture the true elements of a situation with every assignment.
As a graduate of SAE Creative Media Institute Sydney with a Bachelor of Film, Specialising in Production, I am now immersed in the world of cinematography and colour grading. During my time at SAE I worked on 4 shorts films, “Remember When”, “Love in Sydney”, “Call Me J”, “Handshake” and 1 documentary “Make it a Good One”.
“Remember When” was officially selected for The Isolation Film Festival Awards 2020 which was a massive achievement as it was the first Australian short film to be a part of the festival.
An additional achievement is that one of my photographs was chosen as the cover for the OVO Australian Waterpolo League Finals Series booklet.
